What is included in a Comprehensive Skin Check?

Edited

Your Comprehensive Skin Check with MoleMap is a detailed, head-to-toe skin assessment designed to detect early signs of skin cancer — including melanoma, basal cell carcinoma, and squamous cell carcinoma.

Here's what’s included:

  1. Full-body imaging
A trained melanographer will capture high-resolution images of your entire skin surface to create a clear visual record.

  2. Dermoscopic imaging of specific moles or spots
Any areas of concern will be examined more closely using dermoscopy, a specialised imaging technique that reveals features beneath the skin’s surface.

  3. Expert dermatologist review
Your images are sent to a specialist dermatologist who carefully reviews them and provides a comprehensive report outlining any findings or concerns.

  4. Personalised report & next steps
You’ll receive a detailed report after your appointment, which includes:

    • Analysis of any suspicious moles

    • Recommendations for monitoring or follow-up

    • Guidance for any further treatment if needed

This multi-step process ensures your skin is thoroughly assessed with both advanced imaging and expert insight.
