What is a preventive genetic health test?

Edited

A Preventive Genetic Health Test is a powerful tool that helps identify inherited risks for serious health conditions — before symptoms arise.

At Everlab, we’ve partnered with Eugene Labs, a trusted provider of genetic testing in Australia, to offer this test as a membership add-on. It analyses 167 genes linked to your risk of developing:

  • Inherited cancers (e.g. breast, bowel, skin, prostate)

  • Cardiovascular diseases (e.g. high cholesterol, high blood pressure, heart attack, stroke)

  • Other significant conditions, such as haemochromatosis and dystonia

The goal is prevention. By understanding your genetic risks, we can guide you with personalised recommendations — from proactive screening schedules to lifestyle changes — and help you make more informed decisions about your long-term health.

Your test results will be reviewed by our clinical team and available through your Everlab Dashboard, along with the option for further genetic counselling if needed.
